Isbell-Redmond House

This Project is for a new 5,000 sq. ft. Residence on a 36,000 sq. ft. lot in the Hedges Development near Redmond, Washington. The irregular pie shaped lot sits on a cul-de-sac with a horse trail easement along the east property line and a 30 foot landscape buffer along the south rear yard.

The program for the three story Residence includes on the main level a 3-1/2 car Garage w/ Shop, Music/Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen w/ Nook and Butlers Pantry, Family Room, Laundry, Mudroom, Art/Craft Area, Powder Room, Study and Stairwell. The upper level includes a Master Bedroom Suite w/ Sitting Room, Walk-in-closet and Master Bathroom, two Children’s Bedrooms with shared Bathroom and Playroom. The lower level basement accommodates a Den/Recreation Room w/ Kitchenette, adjacent Media Room, Exercise Room, Guest Bedroom w/ Bathroom. Exterior covered spaces include a front Porch, rear Loggia and a two-story high Sport Court.

The Project aesthetic requested by the Owner exhibits a Craftsman influence with wood windows, doors and trim, exposed roof beams and trellis, low sloped roofs and dry stacked stone wainscot and landscape walls.
