Curriculum Vitae

Registered since 1987, Mr. Wittman has for over twenty years maintained his own firm or partnered with colleagues. Along with his extensive experience in residential architecture he has planned, designed and managed projects for civic facilities, retail and commercial facilities, hotel and entertainment facilities, tenant improvement and interiors.

 

Mr. Wittman has been engaged as construction manager on a number of his projects. He has also provided consultation services for a number of historically significant structures; including, historic documentation, adaptive re-use, restoration and reconstruction. Additionally, Mr. Wittman has been an invited Design Critic at the University of Southern California, School of Architecture and the University of California at Los Angeles, Graduate School of Architecture and has assisted teaching of various classes in Landscape Architecture and Interior Design at U.C.L.A. Extension.

 

Mr. Wittman has lectured at the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Planning. He was a Scholar-in-Residence at the Gamble House and later served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Gamble House from 1987 to 1993 and currently sits on the Design Commission for the City of Mercer Island, Washington.

 

A number of Mr. Wittmanís projects have been featured in Global Architecture, Architecture and Urbanism, Korean Architect, Architectural Record, Progressive Architecture, Seatttle Magazine, Northwest Home, and a number of newspapers and business magazines.
